About

Who, me?

I am still trying to figure it out who I am and what Im here for. My answers for basic life questions were always like this:

What do you see yourself doing? Me: Traveling.

What is it that you love the most? Me: Traveling.

What is the meaning of life? Me: Seeing the world.

What do you want to do when you grow up? Me: Retire

I got the travel bug on my first backpacking trip through South America, more specifically when I got enlightened in Machu Picchu. After that, I backpacked through beaches in the south of Northeast Brazil (writing about is in the books, should be soon), and in another trip I did Central America.

My idea was to explore continent by continent, but the great Universe listened to my wishes (the Law of Attraction is real, I guarantee) and in 2008 I won a contest to travel the world for a year. Another trip that I’ll be eventually writing here.

Now, my dear backpack might be retired in the basement, but my little hardcase carry-on and I keep aiming to visit at least 3 new destinations a year. I have been to most islands in the Caribbean, I’ve been to the paradise of Maldives, plus South Asia and South Africa. Still a lot to go! It has been — and 🌍 willing, it will remain happening — a wonderful vacation life. Sharing here my stories hoping that it will serve as inspiration to other travelaholics out there, but really I am having a lot of fun remembering it all. Thanks for visiting!
